My approach
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
A structured, evidence-based approach that helps clients understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors — and build practical coping skills.
Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT)
A specialized form of CBT designed to help children and teens process difficult experiences in a safe, supportive way, with caregivers involved.
Play therapy
For younger children, play is the language of therapy. Play-based sessions help kids express and work through feelings they can't yet put into words.
Parent support
Caregivers are essential partners. I offer guidance and strategies so progress in session carries over into home and school life.
Working with families
Therapy works best when everyone's on the same team. I keep parents and caregivers involved at a level that's appropriate for each client's age and needs — from regular check-ins for younger children to collaborative goal-setting with teens and young adults.
